DAVID BOWIE – Space Oddity + 9 other songs
You are bidding on a rare two 12”, double sided UK mono Trident acetates by David
Bowie. The acetates contains all the songs from the Bowie’s self titled Lp from 1969.
This lp was reissued as „Space Oddity” in the 70’s.The tracks are in different running
order, and some songs are shorter or longer from the released version. They come in
a brown sleeve The acetate consists of an introduction with the list of the songs and
other information about the record. This introduction originally had two pages but one
of them is missing and there is only a little piece from it.
Condition:
Side 1 : Visually is in VG + condition with a lot of light harline marks all over but no serious
scratches. There are background noises throughout and a few stronger pops here
and there but plays well and the sound quality is still enjoyable. No skips or jumps.
Side 2: This is in very similar condition than Side 1 (VG) except at the song „ Memory Of A
Free Festival”, whose sound is not clear from the last part. I don't know what the
reason is as I can't see any serious problem here . No skips or jumps.
Side 3: Similar than side 2 (VG) except there is a repeating rubbing sound at the next songs
„ An Occasional Dream” (throughout) „Wild Eyed Boy…” (at the end) and „ Don’t Sit
Down” (throughout) but no skips or jumps. Plays well and the sound quality on the
whole is still enjoyable.
Side 4: Visually is in VG condition with a lot of light harline marks all over but no serious
scratches. There are background noises throughout and a few stronger pops here
and there but plays well and the sound quality on the whole is still enjoyable. No
skips or jumps.
