You are bidding on the Dark Knights 500 presser on IGL Records from 1966. The band hailed from Storm Lake, Ion and were hand chosen n to open for the Yardbirds in 1966 at the famed Roof Garden Ballroom at Okoboji, Iowa. True garage legends. The two sides, “Send Her To Me/Dark Knight.” The vinyl and the labels is Mint/NM. Don’t see this often in this condition. See photos. Bids strait at $73.99.
I’m not sure when IGL Records was created who decided to put silver ink on red labels. You almost can’t see the printing at all like this. When you make a scan of them it does not work. With these labels I had to adjust a little so you can see them.

If you are a record collector of amazing 60’s garage music, then Milford, Iowa’s IGL & Sonic Records are one of the “Holy Grail” ‘60s labels in existence. I was able to acquire an amazing grouping of IGL/Sonic 45 records with 98% being in mint condition. It was like going into the IGL vault. It’s almost unheard of considering that many of these discs are now close to 58 years old. I’d suggest if you collect these labels, here is your chance to get amazingly scarce mint copies. I doubt you’ll see this opportunity again. In a few cases if it is not Mint, I’ll note that. There are a few of those as well.
To those that collect the rarest of the IGL LP’s, then the “Steve Ellis’s Songbook” on the IGL label is the label’s most sought-after LP, especially in MINT condition. Well, then here it is. Here is MINT copy of the ultra-rare 1967 release. It’s not a re-issue, but the real deal.
