JESUS WEPT***...you really need to hear this record. If you want to hear the definition of great music. SUPER SONGS. AMAZING PERFORMANCE. TOP QUALITY RECORDING. PERFECT PRESERVATION. You could not do better than start here...this LP has it all...in spades.
An original 1st press of BAYOU on UK Liberty. Matrix A1/B1. Everytime I pick up a solid blue Liberty I'm hoping for great things - because I know how dang good these copies were in '69. The question is - are they still playing like '69!! Very difficult to find the 1st pressings in such GREAT condition....The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original cover fully laminated. The original inner is present too. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex+) In lovely condition and has only seen light careful use. You just don't often find them looking this tidy! BEAUTIFUL LUSTRE - could have been pressed yesterday. Take a close look at the label shots. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of lightest marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback with one slightest deviation. Intros and inbetweens are really quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity, no no ..perfect. A cracking copy by any measure - the delivery is lovely and clean. No no no...perfectly clean. And this then gives you the ability to hear first hand just how good the Fogerty vocal delivery is. Not many folks are in this league. This allows you to sit back and marvel at this classic late 60's release.  Minimal signs of background. A couple of crackles in a couple of spots per side. One isolated tick late on side 2. Seriously, this copy is just immense...listen to how the acoustic guitar comes in on Bootleg... truly stunning...not a whisper of background. This is pure unadulterated feed from a nearmaster copy. And these Blue label Liberties are just so so good. It pains me just to sell a record like this...it really does... By all means try and find better,,,.but you could never better this copy. FINAL UPGRADE. A copy like this is for someone who just want to shoot straight for the top of the pile.
Cover (Ex-) In great condition and has survived the years in far better condition than many examples. Good clean surfaces with just a couple of minor creases back and front. Edge wear is very slight and the spine 99% intact. Truly an epic find. Tidy!
Inner (Vg) No splits. No bag. Some ageing.
