Mono 1st press. Matrix 1/1. Heavy-set vinyl comes housed in a '67 mono cover front laminated. It might not be a DAY-1 copy...but this copy is early and from the initial chart run.. IN this condition...extremely entertaining. They have some super wide-body audio... Which means you will get to witness this classic title as it was envisaged....the full gamut. Powerful colourful rich and extremely addictive! The cover is original '67. 'Mono' format on the top left - that's where it should be for genuine 1st issue. Front laminated - absolutely superb looking...what a design! In some ways the rear is even more impressive...the unlaminated rears have a tendency to get tatty. So one this well preserved shows that the owner was extremely fastidious. Original inner too.! 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In super condition and has only seen light careful use. Under close inspection I can only make out a few very slight marks per side and one superficial light trail.... nothing heavy or troublesome at all. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an at least EXCELLENT  level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are lovely and quiet and the audio comes across with superb clarity. I really cannot fault the audio here...this is why folks go crazy for an early clean mono 1st....BECAUSE THIS is the true and best way to take in DG.  Clean audio throughout - even the fussy numbers play super well. A great rendition by any measure. Very very hard to put down...GOOD GRIEF..this is one of the best copies for audio I have witnessed...an absolute roadmap for high quality audio. When you consider the passage of time that has elapsed - truly remarkable.
Cover (Ex-) In lovely condition and many original examples will not be looking this spritely after this passage of time. Lovely clean front and back with little ageing as you see in the pics. Extremely impressive rear - very rarely do the unlaminated copies look like this. The cover retains excellent rigidity. But some edge wear apparent on the spine so don't expect to read text - but not heavy enough to worry. . A tremendous specimen.
Inner (Vg) Aged..but 100% genuine and hellps authentication.
