PAGANINI 24 CAPRICES RUGGIERO RICCI 1960 ED1 DECCA SXL STEREOPHONIC FIRST PRESS DEEP GROOVE VINYL LP
Bidders may notice that the following grading description is very similar to many other similar 1950’s classical LPs I currently have listed or am going to be listing over the next few weeks. This is due to the almost identical, practically ‘archive’ condition of the entire collection. Do check out my other listings if these are of interest. I am adding records every day.
Sleeve Condition: NEAR MINT: very, very light marking in a couple of places to the rear. Otherwise, the sleeve is in remarkable condition, particularly given its very thin, paper construction.
Inner Sleeve Condition: MINT: white, uncreased and free from signs of use or aging.
Record Condition: NEAR MINT: To all intents and purposes this is a MINT record. I have played it but I suspect that it has been out of its sleeve no more than a few times in its life. There are no centring marks around the spindly hole to indicate that its ever seen a turntable and it plays flawlessly. A stunner!
This is only one of many similar LPs I have currently listed or will shortly be listing. They are all from a small collection of early classical Decca SXL and EMI ASD Stereo and some Mono LXT and CSD LPs. All are in the most extraordinary, Near Mint condition. It would not be an exaggeration to describe the entire collection as in, ‘archive’ condition. In 25 years of record dealing and over 40 years of collecting myself, I have never come across records so perfectly cared for is almost perfectly preserved inner and outer sleeves.
