Original UK Deram label stereo press LP.

The fifth album by Chicken Shack, recorded in October at Olympic Studios, London & released in December 1971. This features the new Chicken Shack line-up with Paul Hancock on drums & John Glascock on bass, alongside founder Stan Webb on vocals and guitar. The line up did not last as John Glascock left in March 1972 to join Carmen and by 1974 Stan Webb had joined Savoy Brown.

This is the original stereo issue with the second label variation, the small red Deram logo with the 'Registered Trademark' symbol introduced in mid-1972 and the earliest P-2W P-2W matrices and 1-UK 1-UM stampers of the later first presses.   The Robert Stace matt gatefold sleeve is intact & in EX+ condition, with some very light corner/edge wear and some very light storage rubbing on the unlaminated outer cover. The spine is intact and fully readable, the plain company inner is intact and in EX condition, with a small biro mark.   The record is in visually EX condition, with only a couple of faint sleeve removal hairlines and one or two light needle marks/scuffs visible on each side. The labels are in EX+ condition, clean & bright with evidence of a couple of faint spindle markings on each side.   The sound reproduction is EX+, still clear & precise throughout with no loud hiss, pops or crackle & definately no skips, sticks or jumps, but there is some low, brief background noise during the run in grooves, overall a really great, clear and loud listen.   The matrix nos. are; XZAL-10497-P-2W stamper 1-UK, XZAL-10450-P-2W stamper 1-UM. This is one of the later copies of the 1st pressing of the original 1971 UK stereo issue of this album!

  All lp's are sent in cardboard record mailers with plastic covers and cardboard stiffeners to protect the LP's!!   UK Signed For Postage is £4.50 for the first LP & is the same for up to four single LP's or two double LP's or more up to 2kg.
