CONDITION:
cover - exceptional for this time period and format (10")!! There is a 4.5" seam split at the top right that's not very visible from the front- other than that, all other seams are in great shape! The spine looks fantastic! There is some slight corner wear at top and bottom left and faint ringwear. The back cover is really gorgeous, especially for a white cover! All in all, NO writing on the cover, NO stains, NO major damage of any kind. Would look great framed!
disc - VG++ It looks gorgeous like it was played maybe once or twice, and seldom handled! There are a few very faint surface scuffs probably from having no sleeve. We've now got in plastic. SO hold off on framing this one- it's for playing!
NOTES: As one of the leading inovators of the "Nashville sound," this FIRST full album release from Chet Atkins from 1952 is of great historical importance, particularly in the realm of country music. You would be hard pressed to find one that has stood the test of time better than this piece. Since the 10" of this time came unsleeved, many of the discs are scratchy from being rubbed up against the cardboard, and they move around, causing multiple seam splits. NOT THE CASE WITH THIS ONE! It's in fantastic shape and is ready for a good home!
