Description
This is part of a large auction of blues, doo-wop & R&B 45's on Chicago-based labels from the 1950's/early 60's. Several Chess, Checker, Vee-Jay and more. Many promos mixed in. Even a few from more obscure labels.
Here's the info on this item:
Release: Howlin' Wolf - You'll Be Mine / Going Down Slow
Format: 45 rpm 7" single
Year: 1962
Notes: Blue label first pressing. Two tracks later released on Wolf's stellar "Rocking Chair" album. Note the label variation, this one has the thicker/stylized font. Both tracks are great electric blues rockers. A-side is a little slower, with great guitar work, B-side is a more upbeat piano-driven track.
Vinyl Condition: VG+, vinyl is in great shape with just a couple of small surface scuffs on each side. Looks very clean and sounds great with no skips/ticks/bumps, plays with hardly any background noise at all. Labels are nice with no marks/tearing/stickers but do have some lighter scuffing. Towards the lower end of VG+ visually, but plays well enough to get it solidly over that bar.
I want buying from me to be a good experience for you. I also know that condition can be very subjective, so I encourage you to see pics for exact condition details and ask questions if you need additional information. As always, the item you see is the one you will get. Please see my feedback, I think that will show that I am an accurate and fair grader and make sure my customers are happy.
I will combine shipping for anyone who wins more than one item. If you do need combined shipping, please wait for an invoice before paying.
