Description

This is part of a "Leftovers" auction I'm doing. I just didn't have time to list these when I did their label-specific auction.  There are 10-20 records each from Atlantic, Excello, Checker and Chess.  Some absolutely killer stuff there that I can't believe I didn't get to the first time around.

Release: Howlin' Wolf - Come to Me Baby

Format: 45 rpm 7" single


Year: 1955


Notes: Original 1955 release with the blue and silver labels. Early single.  Classic sound with the type of bluesy guitar work you'd expect. 

Vinyl Condition: VG, play area vinyl is nice with just a few small/faint hairlines.  It does have a very slight warp and some scuffing/scratching in the runoff.  That said, this thing plays great.  No background noise, no ticks/pops/skips. Plays better than it looks. Labels are both in tact and have some scuffing at the top, but no tears/writing/etc. Not a perfect example, but a solid copy that you'll love listening to.


Look for awesome Gospel auction coming in Mid-November then I'm off for the rest of the year.  Still have some great stuff to sell and will be back at it in January.
