We offer here our third and final 1952 45 rpm 7" 'extended play' EP by Charlie Parker. EP's were mini-albums in the 7 inch 45 rpm format with hard cardboard covers like miniature LP's, featuring 2 songs per side for a total of 4 songs. This disc collects 4 of Bird's great sides for the Savoy label, which were recorded in 1947 and 1948. Allstar personnel on these sides include the very young Miles Davis! Original Savoy Charlie Parker EP's are rare, and the Savoy material is acknowledged as among his very best. This disc comes from our personal collection. We note that no Charlie Parker EP's are currently offered on eBay, nor have any been listed in the last 60 days.

No splits, stains, tears or writing. Back side of cover is blank cardboard showing slight wear/aging.
Vinyl surface looks pretty good overall, showing some wear and small marks. B side has 2 scuff spindle marks (one is more pronounced than the other)-neither of which affect play. Disc plays nicely throughout with moderate surface noise.
