Black and Silver, Trumpet label and deep groove both sides. 

   

  The record looks and plays strong VG++. 

 Record plays beautifully and very quietly. Clefs of this vintage don't play better than this.  Both sides have a light gray mark across the side. It is not into the grooves and I think it is a discoloration from either pressing or storage.  Neither mark effects play.  Otherwise, both sides are clean.  No scratches.  Vinyl is bright and glossy and looks unplayed or nearly so.  Very, very light surface noise that can be heard between tracks and during quiet parts, due to vinyl quality keep it from M-.       

 The cover is strong VG++.  

    Cover is in truly superb and exceptional condition for a Clef of this vintage.  The front cover with the all time classic David Stone Martin drawing, probably his most famous, is absolutely gorgeous.  It is bright and glossy, showing no visible wear.  One of the very cleanest Clef front covers I've ever seen.  The back cover is bright and glossy with no visible wear and a small stain near the spine. No split seams.  The spine is tight and intact.  Corners are all sharp and tight.  A  very tiny spot of wear on the bottom corner at the pocket and app 1 inch of heavy wear on the bottom seam at the pocket are all that keep it from M-.   

Black lines that might be visible at bottom left and top right in pictures are due to photo cropping and not on cover.


 My highest grade is M- and I rarely grade 50s or 60s records M-. Records are graded visually using the Goldmine system. M-, VG++, VG+, VG, VG- etc. I play grade any potential problem areas.  I attempt to grade conservatively, listing all significant flaws. You will be satisfied.  No hassles.
