Hi and welcome to my auction item. I'm back with a further batch of vinyl - some of it rare and collectible. I aim to give an honest description of each item and grade the condition as accurately as possible.
I'll always add a realistic starting price (or fixed price, where Buy It Now) based on the value or rarity of the record. I normally post to the UK only (overseas ebayers are welcome to buy, but please contact me to agree shipping costs and service before bidding). I aim to post out the first working day after payment is received.
I'm back digging into my box of Motown and Northern Soul oldies for another set of collectible gems. There are more to follow so do check back at my listings frequently as you may find something else to your taste.
Here's one with a little bit of history to go with it. Issued in 1975, here is a Northern Soul 45 from Pye Records in the UK. It's Chapter Three with "I'll Never Be The Same" Part 1 and Part 2 on the flip. It carries catalogue number 7N 25680. Vinyl is in very good condition and plays very well. Comes in an original company sleeve from the era, it's intact but showing signs of wear and creasing.
Label has 'A' overstamp and numbered sticker attached, but these minor flaws do not affect the playing. Copy of original Pye Records publicity material ('Disco Action' DJ newsletter written by the late and great Soul writer Dave Godin) from 1974 included in purchase. I was fortunate enough to receive promo records from Pye back in the 70's and 80's so I can assure potential buyers that this is a copy of genuine company material.
Reasonable starting price for this package, so an early bid could be a winner. Will be sent out 2nd class signed for postal service to the UK. I have other records to be listed in the coming weeks, some of which will have either original or copies of authentic publicity material and DJ newsletters.
