A fantastic album, start to finish, with some very electric and unique compositions ... for the hip DJ Last time on E-bay was sold for $ 600+ Rare and legendary second Catch Up Lp, recorded one year after the first. The Trio setting of the first has enlarged with 2 reeds players and there are more percussions plus a second keyboards player. Musically the rare-groove/soul-jazz with an emphasis on Hammond/acoustic piano has transformed into a unique Funk-jazz/Fusion with tons of Moog, Fender Rhodes and Clavinet sounds. Outstanding solos by Van Royen on fluegelhorn and by Geller on soprano sax. ' Birth of a second life ' is still one of the best Lp of its kind - very hard to find and this copy is in oustanding condition. Visually grading : record is VG+ condition because has 1 light scuff (no scratches) on first track of side 1 which is lightly audible for 4 / 5 sec. Rest of the record plays well with only light background noise audible in quiter parts. Cover is VG+ condition has some general and corners wear and has a very short tear on top of back cover (cm. 2) nothing serious. Labels are clean.
