Description
Released in 1971, 'Tea For The Tillerman' remains one of Cat Stevens most treasured albums and blasted him into international superstardom. Even the cover art which Stevens painted, somehow reflects the innocence found within the songs and were perfect for the flower-child ethos.
The copy I am offering is a 1st French pressing from 1971 on the pink "i" Island Records label ( 6405008 ). The audio is wonderful, balanced, clear, and particularly detailed in the strings and percussion. It is quite difficult to find in this condition.
Condition of Gatefold Jacket: Near Mint .....sturdy construction (just like her UK counterpart) with a lovely lamination showing vivid colors.
Condition of Record: Near Mint(minus) .....beautiful gloss to both sides with the faintest hairlines only visible under strong light. Perhaps 1 or 2 songs grade slightly less than NM....but only slightly.
