Hello there and welcome to my auction. Please read my descriptions carefully before you bid. Please make sure you read everything especially the condition of each vinyl. The grading and criteria are below.

 

 

 

This is an auction for: Cat Stevens - Matthew & Son - RARE Original Vinyl LP album from 1967.

MONO

DERAM

1A, 1A Matrix (First Pressing).

Made in England

 

Vinyl Condition: VG/EX (Some light circumerference wear to the first track on side 1 which is only very light and does not affect the sound on my deck. There are general light marks and light lines but nothing heavy. Overall for its age it is in lovely condition and plkays great with nice sound. No sticks or jumps. Just the odd light tick here and there).

 

Inner Sleeve Condition: VG (Plain white inner is a replacement).

 

Outer Sleeve Condition: VG (Front laminated sleeve. Sticker to the back and some yellowing. Nice condition for its age).

 

 

 

I grade my vinyl’s as follows:

 

M = Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Unplayed and sealed records are referred to as Mint.

Ex = Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have minimal wear and/or creasing.

VG = Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects.

G = Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

Fair = The record shows signs of extensive play and may have many marks and deep scratches but will still play ok but with significantly lower sound quality. Artwork will be rather worn with possible splits, small rips, scrapes, dents, or maybe water damage.
