FACTORY SEALED
Thirty-six years after the release of the Hal Ashby film Harold & Maude, Vinyl Films offers the first official soundtrack release to this 1971 cult classic. This new Limited Edition vinyl release is by Cat Stevens and includes two songs, "Don't Be Shy" and "If You Want to Sing Out, Sing Out", that he composed specifically for the movie and that were unavailable for over a decade.The previous supposed Japan release of the soundtrack didn't even include the two Cat Stevens' tunes composed especially for the film and contained five songs not found in the film at all.
This is a vinyl-only release and includes a bonus 7" which includes the demo version of "Don't Be Shy" and an alternate version of "If You Want to Sing Out, Sing Out", both previously unreleased. Also included in this Limited Edition release is a 36 page book containing the history of the making of the film, the most extensive series of interviews conducted on "Harold and Maude."
