Description
Released by Capitol in 1968, cat # T2955; this is “Music From Big Pink” by The Band.
This is the much rarer mono 1st pressing.
The laminated flipback sleeve is in at least very good condition. The spine is clear and undamaged and the seams are also clean with no signs of splitting. The opening edge has very little wear. The rear of the sleeve has a few grubby marks near the top seam.
The record comes in the correct pictorial EMI inner sleeve.
This is the first pressing on the “rainbow” Capitol labels. The labels do have some spindle marks, but there isn’t a huge amount of wear to the spindle hole. The playing surfaces do have some light marks not unduly affecting play. The record grades as a conservative very good.
Postage and packing will be £2.98 for First Class (recorded) for UK customers. European customers will pay £3.85 airmail and USA and the Rest of the World customers will pay £6.96 airmail. Insurance will be required on all consignments valued over £38 without exception. Please do not bid if you are not prepared to pay for the appropriate postal service to insure your purchase.

All of my records are packed properly and securely to ensure they arrive with you in the same condition they leave me. Records are removed from inner sleeves before packing to avoid seam splits and all items are placed within a polythene sleeve for protection.
