Description
This is an auction of an original vintage VERY RARE '58 1ST PRESSING Jazz LP Cannonball Adderley - Somethin' Else - BLUE NOTE 1595 ORIGINAL 1st pressing with 47 W 63rd address on DG deep groove labels and no R circled. With Adderley, Miles Davis, Hank Jones, Sam Jones and Art Blakey. This is a NO RESERVE AUCTION!
Record is visually graded VG++ and is only less than Mint- due to a few very light hairlines and some faint images seen which are impurities in the vinyl and DO NOT AFFECT PLAY, IT PLAYS Mint- to VG++ with only faint background crackles in a few spots. The laminated cover is VG++ with crisp edges and no writing or splits, just tiny wear at the lower right corner tip and very slight and almost impossible NOT to find wear on the black front and a small spot of white space on back upper right - overall very close to Mint- but not quite. Excellent Rudy Van Gelder engineered sound - with "RVG" and an "ear" stamped in the trailoff deadwax of both sides.
