Wel, Ah Say, Welcome to this auction.

Here are 4 audiophile Japanese pressings by Eric Clapton, in Cream and later solos.

The Best of Cream Live, RSO MW 8665-6, Japan ONLY release with unique cover photo. Best picture of Cream I've seen on any lp. The cover has edgewear and a bit of rubwear, but it's solid with square corners. EX- to EX. The vinyls are EX+ or better. Hate to use the M word. No insert, all that information is inside the gatefold..

Slowhand, RSO MWF 1038, with insert. Cover EX-, some soiling and a seam split on the backside of the gatefold, but no corner damage. Insert NM, Vinyl EX+, same as above. Lay Down Sally, Wonderful Tonight, The Core, more.

461 Ocean Boulevard, RSO 23MW 0009, gatefold cover EX+, some corner wear on the spine side, vinyl EX+. Motherless Children, I Shot the Sheriff, I Can't Hold Out, Let it Grow, Steady Rollin' Man, Mainline Florida, more. Great lp.

Backless, RSO MW 1056, with insert. Gatefold Cover EX- to EX, Light edgewear, primarily on the bottom,4 page insert NM, has the Clapton family tree from the Roosters in 1963 throu the present. Vinyl EX+, and looks better than that.

This is a lot of his best material in very listenable condition.


I specialize in Japanese pressings, Audiophile and Quadraphone/4 Channel pressings. Mostly classic rock.

I've got too many LPs and at this point I need the space more than I need the vinyl. I've been a collector for over 40 years, so I know how to rate and ACCURATELY DESCRIBE an item. Standard grading. Visual unless condition is a question.

Mint - Perfect
Near Mint - Near perfect. I've seen descriptions that say near mint with minor scuffs or scratches. Hello??? If there are scuffs or scratches, it's NOT near mint!
Excellent - Normal LIGHT wear. An item that's been handled or played, but still an enjoyable listening experience.
Very Good - Noticeable wear, expect some surface noise.
Poor - A Frisbee. You won't see any of that here.
