If you collect hard to find 1950s Rock/Rockabilly 45s, this auction should be of interest.

Carl Perkins was one of those great original talents who began his recording career for Sam Phillips at Sun Records in Memphis. Like Johnny Cash, he eventually left Sun for Columbia Records, but not before leaving behind some great singles. This original Sun 45 from 1956 is becoming hard to find, especially in this condition.

Record is new/unplayed, wax no less than Near Mint. Labels are clean and there are no cutout marks or drill holes through the labels. Record ships in a plain sleeve.

This 45 came out of a warehouse inventory of a major US record distributor of the period.
