This is the UK Original of 'Disraeli Gears' by Cream. This A1/B1 matrix press is complete with the early laminated, white 'Reaction’ text and Ernest J Day 'Patents Pending' sleeve. This original is pressed on heavy flat edge vinyl, with the flat blue Reaction label.
The condition of the record is Excellent. The vinyl has a superb high gloss, with a couple of very light wispy marks on both sides. When played the sound is very rich, bold and extremely clear. Superb original audio separation throughout. There are a couple of moments of background noise but these are pretty insignificant, the sound quality is Excellent. The blue Reaction labels are bold and bright. The silver text is sharp and there is only slight spindle wear.
The laminated Ernest J Day sleeve is in Very Good+ condition. The laminate has a sensational polished gloss, the colours are vivid and the images are clear. There is slight corner and opening edge wear, otherwise is it exceptionally firm. It clearly displays the earliest 'Patents Pending' text at the bottom edge and the whole cover still feels exceptionally solid.
