THE BEATLES: PAPERBACK WRITER/RAIN (Capitol #5651 1st pressing w/WEST COAST PICTURE SLEEVE, 1966): CLEAN M- PIC SLEEVE & CLEAN M- GEM 45 & JUKEBOX TITLE STRIP.

                        

CLEAN M- 1st pressing Capitol 45 looks like it was maybe played once.  WEST COAST PICTURE SLEEVE has no rips, writing, stickers or seam splits.  A nice jukebox title strip is included.  Put it in The Vault!

Relevant details:

1966: John Lennon takes the tape with the rough mix of Rain home from EMI studios & puts it on his reel-to-reel deck.  He's "stoned out of me mind" & loads the tape tails-out so when played it's backwards.  He likes it that way & next day tells the others the ENTIRE SONG should be released in reverse.  Although he was talked out of it, John's FUBAR led to the guitar solo on Rain being mixed-in backwards.
