Description

This is part of a large auction featuring blues, R&B and doo-wop, all from Chicago-based labels. There is a lot of great stuff here from many Chicago artists including Little Walter, Muddy Waters and other forefathers of the genre with few bonus listings as well.

Format: 45 rpm 7" single


Year: 1958


Notes: White label promo first pressing. The last of Walter's great run with this band that included Willie Dixon. Just fantastic stuff on both sides here, prototypical Chicago blues sound with some great harmonica work. 


Vinyl Condition: VG++, Vinyl itself is in nice shape and super-clean with basically no wear at all. It plays well and sounds great with no skips/ticks/bumps, hardly any background noise at all. Labels are very nice, with no tears or stickers, but do have some very light scuffing on Highway side. This is a top notch copy overall. 


All records I sell have been personally cleaned and play tested. Check back in a couple of weeks for another new genre auction: dance records from the 70's to the early 2000's.
