MONSTER RARE ORIGINAL 1969 UK pressing of Chris Britton’s LP "As I Am". It is the first pressing on Page One label. This LP is very rare and extremely hard to find. As guitarist for the Troggs, Chris Britton made important contributions to the raw British Invaders' sound with his crunchy, wiry style. It's not even too well-known by many big Troggs fans that Britton did this obscure solo LP in 1969, As I Am. A varied batch of period British psychedelic pop songs, sung by Britton in his idiosyncratic, diffidently cool and amused style.
This is the original 1 st press STEREO UK release from 1969 on Page One. The record is pressed on thick quality vinyl with cat. no POLS 022 on the original 1st Press Page One label and is a UK Stereo 1st Pressing. (see pictures). The record labels are in great condition, with just a small name “Jill K” written on side A and B. Otherwise it’s totaly clean with no wear! This record hasn’t been played much att all. The vinyl looks superb with no scratches, no hairlines and no sign of play at all. Visually it looks unplayed. When I play it it sounds as great as it looks. The sound quality is simply superb!

The record also comes in its original white inner sleeve with “British patent” and “Plastic bags can be dangerous ...” which is in top condition. The 1st Press 'Garrod & Lofthouse' unlaminated gatefold cover is in excellent condition. Please look at my pictures, I do my best to show the cover from all angels.
This sole album by the Troggs’ lead guitarist, is now almost impossible to find! So don’t miss out on this incredibly opportunity!
