UK 1st pressing on the Pink Island Label
A3/B3 First Matrix-Stampers
Upon release of this album Island changed the label design to the Pink Rim/Palm Tree design - only a small number of ILPS 9135 came on the Pink label, hence this is the very last release on the famous Pink Island label.
Sleeve: gatefold full-laminated, inner rough textured (later pressings had laminated sleeves and plain inner) a few laminate creases, no seam-splits, clean EXC-
Inner Sleeve: plain white, clean, EXC
Labels: a few very light spindle marks, no writing, very clean EXC+
Vinyl: very few minor non-sounding hairlines -a total of 6 clicks on Track 3, minor background noise on last track for a few seconds, oneof the cleanest first pressings I ever came across. Overall strong EXC
Rich, full bodied and vibrant sound.
A very respectable copy of a landmark album.
