Description
Here's a one-of-a-kind artifact from the collection of a one-time LA music industry professional. It's an autographed copy of a rare early solo single by Tommy Boyce (Dot 45-16117) with an amusing signed letter from Boyce to arranger Jimmie Haskell, apologizing that his name does not appear on the record and that Dot screwed up the mastering. The record is signed on one of the labels, "To Jimmy, from Tommy" over the yellow 'D' in "Dot" (see pic #2 above), and the hand-typed letter is signed "Your friend, Tommy" (see pic #3) and dated August 14, 1960 (see pic #4). The record is in excellent condition, close to M- with some faint surface marks. The letter is also in excellent condition. Includes the original Dot sleeve.
