For instant sale is an overall superb condition copy of the 'MATTHEW & SON' album from 1967 by CAT STEVENS on the DERAM label. This is a UK first pressing with the earliest 1W matrices and is the super-rare, hardly ever seen version with the DERAM box on the front cover in brown (most versions are in black). It looks like it has hardly been played and would be a superb addition to any record collection. The sleeve is in overall excellent condition with hardly any marks or wear apart from a little bit of ringwear on the back and a small bump/crease on the bottom left corner. The spine is clean, sharp and fully readable. Please study all the photos carefully to see the condition for yourself. The labels are in excellent condition with only a few 'spindle trails' indicating that the record has hardly been played. The record looks in really excellent condition with hardly any marks on it. However, I have not had time to play it so I cannot comment on the sound quality. But from a purely visual impression I think you would be hard-pressed to find a better example of this fine album. The record will be wrapped in bubblewrap before posting to ensure that it does not get damaged on its journey. I will dispatch the record in a proper record mailer and will post within one working day of purchase by second class post so that it gets on its way to you as soon as possible.
