Description
Bla Bla, Italy, 1972, gatefold cover, NON-GLOSSY FINISH variant, no inner sleeve. Lp lightly scuffed, has some surface noise, plays ok.
VG+/ VG- to VG
Cover in decent shape, slightly discolored with age in white areas, light stains along back lower spine, light ring arcs top front and back, mild edge wear.
Lp has light scuffs, a few small nicks, and some general age wear causing mild to moderate surface noise throughout, and the occasional mild pop or click. Two circular streaks on side 1 and one on side 2 are largely cosmetic and do not seem to affect the sound any further. Lp tracks fine.
On side 1, the surface noise is mostly buried behind the heaviness and intensity of the music. Sounds about VG to VG+.
Side 2 has a few quieter passages during which the surface noise is more pronounced. Has some noticeable wear throughout but is still enjoyable on the whole. Most copies of this lp seem to have at least some surface noise at this point in time, this one a bit more than average. A decent play copy overall.
One of the all time greats in the Italian prog genre. Now insanely rare and sought-after. Goes from heartfelt piano led balladry to ultra-heavy, complex, keyboard and guitar driven progressive with thundering rhythms, and very cool keyboard/ synth sounds. One of the most emotionally rewarding lps ever heard. On the very collectible Bla Bla label. Cover has flat finish; an earlier variant had glossy finish, and most came missing the inner sleeve.
