Description
Vintage jazz lp: JOHN COLTRANE - Ascension - Impulse A-95, stereo, gatefold jacket, first pressing, with the ABC-Paramount inner sleeve, and with "Van Gelder" stamped in the deadwax. Released in 1965. This is the version called "Edition I", which has the second take of the performance (the next pressing used the session's first take).
Condition is NM/NM (beautiful top copy - vinyl is NM- to NM with a few very ghostly surface/sleeve scuffs and clean labels; inner has creased corner and light tanning; jacket is super-sharp, essentially mint; gatefold has never even been opened all the way).
