Description
From my personal collection, this is a very rare ORIGINAL UK FIRST PRESSING on United Artists, purchased used in the mid-80s. The vinyl is play-graded very solid VG+ with just a little minor surface noise here and there in the quiet bits. I played this in its entirety recently, and it was a great listen. The cover is also VG+, with the biggest problem being the jerk original owner wrote his initials on the back cover (hey, how ya doin, JJ???) in magic marker. Oddly, it blends in and isn't immediately noticeable like it would be on a white cover. Other than that, just some typical minor shelf wear, minor ring wear, and minor creasing. FIRST PRESSING DETAILS:
On the back cover of the UK release, the United Artists logo appears on the bottom right.
The cat# UAS 29505 appears top right.
Labeling has 'Side 1' and 'Side 2'
The label has the United Artists logo in brown as is the print running around the edge. Vinyl is entirely black.
Track B1 is listed as 'Spare A Light' on the label and 'Bel Air' on the back cover.
Some copies (presumably from 1974?) have ST/ST/74 at lower left (rather than DA/DA/73)
The original paper sleeve contains a PATENT number 1125555.
