Description
Up for auction here I have a very nice and clean copy of the legendary Can's 1973 album Future Days. Released on the United Artists Records label,the catalogue number is UAS 29505. The sleeve itself does have some age related storage wear from not being kept in a protective plastic sleeve though remains strong and intact.The spine is strong and all print clearly and perfectly readable. I can confidently grade the sleeve as being in a strong VG+ state. The vinyl itself I can honestly say is in wonderful NEAR MINT condition (most would say mint). I really cannot detect a fault with it. I have play tested the record and it's just as fresh and clear sounding as it was back in the day. A truly fine example of an increasingly rare and sought after record. Thanks for looking and happy bidding.
RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING SYSTEM
MINT :The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed be Mint.
EXCELLENT :The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD :The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
I may use a + or a - to emphasise a grading which may be inbetween a grade. I will never use a mint grading for a 2nd hand/used record for instance. Mint- will be the very highest grade.
