Description
CAMEL ~ 1st Album MCA-5162. Original Release 1973. This is a very early and rare Japanese pressing in fantastic condition, complete with the original obi.
Gradings: -
Sleeve : EX+
The outer sleeve is in superb condition, one of the best I’ve ever seen. The front cover is totally clean and undamaged, as are the edges and spine. The white rear cover has just a few extremely light brown spots, which are not heavy and don’t spoil the sleeve, but do remove it from being Mint, which has to be totally perfect for me to award this grade. A top condition sleeve which would be extremely difficult to upgrade.
Vinyl: Near Mint
The Vinyl is in Near Mint condition. The vinyl is in stunning condition with a deep black gloss shine throughout. It is very difficult to pick out any wear or other signs of use, stunning copy!
Labels: Mint
The labels are in Mint condition, are totally clean and undamaged.
Inner Sleeve: EX+
The single lyric inner lyric sheet is in EX+ condition. Really nice condition with just a few very light brown spots, but these are extremely feint and don’t detract.
Obi : EX+
Superb condition Obi, again just a few light spots, almost impossible to see. No rips or tears whatsoever. To have an original obi in this level of condition really is extremely rare.
Overall this is a really top copy of this Japanese LP, which seldom comes up for sale with the original obi, but is also in fantastic condition as well. Superb.
Postage and Packing:
All records are placed in a separate poly lined inner and stored flat outside the sleeve and then placed sealed in a re-sealable polythene outer prior to shipping. Records are then placed between square cardboard sheets before packaging into cruciform mailers especially designed for LP’s. These mailers are a high-grade type which reinforce the edges around the LP and as such they are larger and weigh more than standard mailers. My postage costs reflect the additional size and weight of the packaging that I use.
