Original UK CBS rough orange label mono press LP.Sweetheart of the Rodeo is the sixth LP by the Byrds and was released on August 30, 1968, the new country influences of this LP were in part due to Gram Parsons, but due to conflicts in the studio with Hillman & Clark, he was gradually eased out and finally sacked before the LP was released and most of his vocals replaced. This is the original mono pressing with the rough orange CBS labels, the very earliest A-1 B-1 matrices and A-2 B-4 stampers! The E. J. Day Group sleeve is intact & in VG+ condition, with some light laminate wear and creasing on the front cover, the rear cover is slightly discoloured with some light storage rubbing. The spine is intact, but worn and no longer readable, the company inner is intact & in EX condition. The record is in visually VG+ condition, with only a few faint sleeve removal hairlines and a couple of needle marks/scuffs visible on each side. The labels are in EX condition, clean & bright with evidence of a couple of faint spindle markings on each side. The sound reproduction is VG+, still clear & precise throughout with definately no skips, sticks or jumps, but there is some brief background noise during the run in grooves and in some of the quieter passages, overall, still a really good listen. The matrix nos. are; SBPG-63353, A-1 stamper B-4, B-1 stamper A-2. This is one of the early copies of the 1st pressing of the original 1968 UK mono issue of this album!

All lp's are sent in cardboard record mailers with plastic covers and cardboard stiffeners to protect the LP's!! UK Signed For Postage is £4.50 for the first LP & is the same for up to four single LP's or two double LP's or more up to 2kg,
Will post to Europe (including all EU countries & Russia, Finland, Sweden, etc.) and Rest of the World (USA, Japan, Australia, Korea etc.), but airmail is limited to 5 or 6 lp's due to 2kg weight restrictions.
