Description
Mega rare triple EP set released by Coral / Festival Records in Australia in 1965 and flopped massively.
In Brett Leslie’s 2015 Book on Australian Festival EP’s, only 2 scored the highest on the rarity grade- this set and The Bee Gees debut EP. While prices for this EP set have perhaps moderated slightly over the years it still doesn’t detract for the rarity and that has only shown up a handful of times in the last 10-15 years for sale. So rare it’s not even on Discogs yet!
Condition:
Outer book sleeve has some light ringwear where the labels are, most evident on the front as shown. Otherwise light marking and edge wear as shown. VG overall.
I’ve put brand new plastic slip sleeves inside the original plastic sleeves as there seems little point cleaning the records then putting them Back in dirty sleeves!
Records:
Side A- VG+
Side B- VG+
Side C- Pop for about 3 rotations on C1, VG
Side D- some light crackle on track 1, VG
Side E- light crackle VG
Side F- light crackle on F1, VG
Otherwise all sides are around VG+.
Visually all sides look very clean with only light marking visible.
All labels are clean with no writing, marks or heavy spindle marks.
Bid while you can because this set barely ever shows up and when it does it’s either got a record or part of the sleeve missing!
