Description

Bud Powell 'The Amazing Bud Powell' Vol. 1 BLP1503 RVG 'Ear' and '9M' hand etched in run-out grooves. Deep Groove labels. Includes original Blue Note inner sleeve which has a 2" split on one side seam and a couple of creases but not bad for its age. Address on back is BLUE NOTE RECORDS, 43 West 61st., New York 23. Side 1 label is 'BLUE NOTE RECORDS INC - NEW YORK USA' and Side 2 is 'BLUE NOTE RECORDS 767 LEXINGTON AVE NYC'. I believe the year of issue of this press is 1962. 
Cover: VG the cover has wear round edges and corners. on back; small area of old brown tape and small area where piece of backing paper missing, also has what looks like an original shop sticker at top. 
Vinyl: VG+ Almost completely mark free, shiny and good lustre. Plays well just occasional very light surface noise. labels clean.
