Visual Condition
The record has a good sheen rather than superb. Side 1 has a 1cm scuff through track 2 & 3 (see picture). There are some little light scratches to the run-in and dead wax and a couple of light scuffs. Side 2 has some scratches to track 4 & 5, dead wax and run-in.
Label - Very clean with some typical light bubbling near the spindle hole.
Inner sleeve - Original blue and white Decca sleeve.
Sleeve - A few small laminate creases near ring wear. Corners bumped and edges browned. Rear slightly grubby and some creasing to opening edge.
Audio quality - (The record has NOT been cleaned, just dusted and would befit a proffesional clean) . I was surprised by the quality of the sound and it plays much better than it looks. There is some background noise at the start of each side and a little over the major scuff, but no clicks or pops, skips or jumps on my system. There is some superb of-the-time psych folk notes - not so sure about the occasional Dylanesque attempt at harmonica playing but that's just me!
This is a great slice of 70's psych folk
