Description
This is Genesis Vol 2 - The Beginnings of Rock - Memphis to Chicago. This box set is a rare collection of early blues albums featuring some of the great names of Blues including Sony Boy Williamson, Elmore James, Ethyl Mae, Robert Nighthawk, Forest City Joe, Howlin' Wolf, Jackie Brenston, Doctor Ross, Willie Nix, Arthur 'Big Boy' Crudup, Woodrow Adams, Joe Hill Louis and Harmonica Frank.
The original booklet is included, which gives brief biographies of the artists and the music. The albums are in their original sleeves and box. The box itself shows signs of wear as do the sleeves, but the vinyl is as new, having been cared for since new by a genuine collector.
The discs are unmarked and without visible blemishes or scratches thus are classified as Mint. The box is very good with some blemishes with worn/torn edges/corners. The booklet is in very good condition.
This is a classic limited edition of 4 LPs plus a 16 page booklet. 56 tracks. Rare, timeless and unissued Aristocrat and early Chess recordings. Rare photos, brilliant text. The holy grail of blues box sets - for it's time. I offer money back if you are not satisfied.
