Here is a RARE record from my collection offered up for auction: A well cared for "Monterey International Pop Festival" LP album with RECALLED BANNED COVER, released on Reprise records 2029. This live recording from 1967 of the "Monterey International Pop Festival" featuring The Jimi Hendrix Experience AND Otis Redding bands! This was the historic recorded first appearance of The Jimi Hendrix Experience band in the US! WOW! This cover art was banned and a replacement silver cover was put in it's place. The cover rates EX/NEAR MINT, front is clean and artwork is clear with great color, NO splits, no signatures, outstanding rare cover! (see photos) Record rates EX/NEAR MINT, is clean, glossy, near pristine! Has been PLAY TESTED, plays with EXCELLENT sound quality form start to finish, quite even in the deadwax! Great listening copy! The orange Reprise labels are in EX condition, no signatures or wear. Includes a cool Hendrix picture custom inner sleeve in EX/NM condition, no bends, clean, bright, no signatures, ONLY one tiny 1" split at the center bottom of the sleeve, all other seems and corners are perfect. This inner sleeve has a discography and is dated 1979. Beautiful and frame worthy keepsake! There is NO RESERVE PRICE!
