Description
Incredibly rare pressing (maybe only 99 copies) of Bob Wallis and The Storyville Jazzmen from 1957, featuring the first appearance on vinyl of legendary drummer Ginger Baker.
This limited edition six-track 10-inch issued by Doug Dobell on his own 77 Records label, named after his jazz record shop at 77 Charing Cross Road.
The sleeve is in good shape (easily VG+) and looks to have been re-laminated at some point.
The heavyweight vinyl has marks, scuffs and hairlines but plays through well enough with some surface crackle, grading Good + to VG.
Labels are excellent and the vinyl comes in a shaped plastic inner.
Extremely rare record – very hard to find in any condition and a real find for Ginger Baker fans. Sensible offers welcome.
