Description

Long out of print 1995 Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab 200g pressing, stamped No. 2710 on rear. PLEASE NOTE that there are notable imperfections on this copy, hence the lower-than-average price. The first side has a long, light scratch going across most tracks. It is audible but solidly in the background on my system, a Technics Sl-23 table w/ Denon DL-103R cartridge. Still perfectly listenable and enjoyable, but it's there. Side two has one heavier scratch over a portion of track 1, "Jamming." This scratch is very audible in the foreground (a rice crispy sound) and does interfere with the listening experience. But it's gone by about halfway through the song, and the rest of that side is clean. My table is able to play through that scratch without tracking problems/skipping, but your mileage may vary of course. Please see photos for more details. If you can live with the imperfections, this is a good chance to get a copy of this amazing MFSL pressing for cheaper than a pristine copy would be. Happy to answer any questions.
