Description
Bob Dylan - Million Dollar Bash.
Original UK One Sided 45rpm 7" "Feldman's Music" Acetate.
The legend of the Basement Tapes is one all Bob Cats know well and "Million Dollar Bash" was included on the issued version in 1976, however that version is different to the one featured on this Acetate.
After the success of Brian Auger and Julie Driscoll's Version of "This Wheel's on Fire" it seems that Feldman's Music were keen to get other UK acts to record their own versions of Bob Dylan's latest and then unreleased work. This Acetate would have be touted around Bands, Managers etc in the UK by Feldman's in a hope that someone would record a version of it. That did happen in 1969, an Essex Based group called The Mixed Bag issued a version on Decca Records and it sank without a trace !!!!
100% Genuine, Originally Obtained from a Music Publisher's Library.
Only in Fair Condition (surface has oxidisation marks and it plays with surface noise throughout).
