Bob Dylan Blonde on Blonde MONO 2-LP NM!
This is a slightly later mono pressing. But it’s a stunner!
(By the way, in collector speak, records are pressed. Books are edited. Since records aren’t edited, they aren’t editions, they’re pressings.)
Cover---An absolute beauty. This is not the Claudia Cardamone gatefold cover, which is too bad. This cover is a muscular VG++ copy. All the seams are steady-sturdy. Just a hint of shelfwear to all the seams. There’s a slight push-in at the bottom of the spine. All the graphics on the front, back and gatefold are exceedingly far better than you normally see for this title. There is extremely light ringwear on the front and in the gatefold. Light ringwear to the back cover.
Inner Sleeves---Issued with non die-cut inner sleeves. As you know, these sleeves that had no center hole issued by Columbia tended to yellow, dry out and either split very easily or else simply flake apart. Also, they are notorious for causing hairline scratches once they dry out and lose flexibility. These sleeves have yellowed, but they have retained much of their pulp’s flexibility. This is because early on, I took the vinyl out of the jacket, and replaced the sleeves with die-cut generic white sleeves. As a result, the original sleeves are preserved, flat, razor-sharp and have NO seam splits. I will ship the LP’s this way, so as to protect your original inner sleeves.
Vinyl---Near mint. I don’t use that term on vinyl unless all sides pass the bright bulb test. As you can see in the photos, even under a bright bulb, the vinyl shines loudly. If you take a small lamp outside at midnight, you can send signals to outer space with any of these sides. Plates are slightly later ones, but after all, the mono plates were not in use for much of the run. 4F/2G/2A/3G
Labels are fresh, free of any obstructions like dirt, writing, stickers, etc. There are NO spindle marks. When you see the newness of this entire package, you will squeak in spite of yourself.
