Over the next several months we have the pleasure of listing a spectacular vinyl collection of over 6000 LP's. This collection consisting of mostly Jazz but also Blues, Folk ,Rock, Soundtracks and Classical was kept in amazing condition. Most of the records were played once, transferred to tape for listening and then stored away in cliplock sealed bags in specially made cupboards. The overall condition of this collection is sublime to say the least and whatever items I list as Near Mint you can be assured that it was probaly only ever played once!! Over the last few weeks you may have noticed some of the lovely jazz & rock titles I have listed, these are just the tip of the iceberg here. I hope you enjoy seeing these listings as much as I have in offering them.

Complete with psychedelic cover art and hilarious Vietnam-era liner notes, this relic from the Summer of Love is an enduring delight. The bold notion to team blues masters Muddy Waters and "Little Walter" Jacobs with rocking rhythm-and-blues king Bo Diddley works wonders throughout, achieving a creative chemistry and energy rarely seen in jam bands of this sort. The vocal and instrumental interplay on every track is intensely competitive in the tradition of jook house "headcutting" contests, with each performer spurring the next on to evermore impressive heights, while soaring through a repertoire of favorites like Muddy's "Long Distance Call," Bo's "I'm a Man" and "Who Do You Love," Little Walter's and Willie Dixon's "You Can't Judge a Book By Its Cover." With the powerhouse headliners backed by the likes of Otis Spann on piano and Buddy Guy on guitar, this period piece remains a fun and refreshing gem.

Tracks: Long distance call/ Who do you love/ I'm a man/ Bo Diddley/ You can't judge a book by the cover/ I just want to make love to you/ My babe/ You don't love me.

There are a few very light spindle marks on labels. Record is stunning and in Near Mint condition. Gloss cover has a few small light marks on back and is in Near Mint condition.
