Extremely rare album in any condition, much harder to locate than their debut lp. Has 4 stars in Pokoras 5001 book.
Blues Section is considered a seminal and ground-breaking band in Finnish rock music. They started in 1967, formed around the vocalist Jim Pembroke, a British expatriate song-writer now living in Finland. The other members of the band were Eero Koivistoinen (saxophone), Ronnie Österberg (drums), Hasse Walli (guitar), and Måns Groundstroem (bass). Their influences came among all from John Mayall's Bluesbreakers and Jimi Hendrix, who had played a sensational gig in Helsinki in May 1967. One can also hear in Pembroke's British-flavoured song-writing some echoes from The Beatles and The Kinks. Blues Section released a self-titled album late 1967 on Helsinki's Love Records. In 1968 Groundstroem and Pembroke left the band, being replaced by Pekka Sarmanto and (another British vocalist) Frank Robson, respectively. The Blues Section members would continue in such acclaimed progressive rock bands as Wigwam and Tasavallan Presidentti. Eero Koivistoinen was to become an internationally acclaimed jazz musician.

My grading is strict and itemdescriptions is short and concise. I use MINT (only used for new or sealed records) NM, EX and VG grades, +/- illustrates the lower or upper area of the actual grade.
I dont believe any vinyl records are new, so i you expect a factory new record with cd sound, dont bid, look for the cd instead. That means that a M- record is not NEW it is most likely used but taken so good care of that i qualifies as M-. I use the RC standards in my grading.

All items carry a full money back guarantee minus postage costs - upon recived returned item and that differs strongly from the RC standard of grading that i use, that means that have made a mistake i will of course take the item back and refund. What i am not interested in is buyes that try to get reduction of the price by claiming some fault but wont return the record, i will only refund upon returned item in the same condition as it was when i sent it out.
