Description
Prestige Bluesville 1046, “That’s All Right” with Blind Snooks Eaglin, from 1962. Snooks Eaglin, vocals and guitar. The DG vinyl plays at VG++ with very little background sound; there are a few cloudy spots on the vinyl, typical of Prestige recordings. The jacket is about VG+ with some seamwear along bottom seam, and little seamwear on upper seam or spine; however, pieces of tape cover the seams at upper and lower corners for about three inches on each side. There is ringwear on the front cover (see scan). The jacket back is basically clean with a “Preview Copy” stamp. Songs are “Mama Don’t You Tear My Clothes”, “Mailman Passed”, “I’m A Country Boy”, “I’ve Got a Woman”, “Alberta”, “Brown Skinned Woman”, “Don’t You Lie to Me”, “That’s All Right”, “Well I Have Had My Fun”, “Bottle Up and Go”, “Walkin’ Blues”, “One More Drink”, and “Fly Right Baby”. One of the best of the old Bluesville issues.
Shipping is $4.00 media mail, $8.00 priority mail within the continental U.S.; $20.00 regular airmail to the U.K., Europe, Japan, Korea, and Australia; elsewhere inquire. Additional LPs in a single package are $1.00 per LP domestic, $2.00 elsewhere. For overseas shipments, I strongly recommend registered mail for $12.00 extra. Many old records are now practically antiques and should be treated that way. This LP will be packaged with the record inside an inner sleeve but outside the jacket; both are placed inside a sealed outer sleeve and shipped inside a special oversized handcrafted mailer with padding on all sides. It is designed thick enough not to be caught in a postal conveyor belt and strong enough to withstand a drop from a second-story window with no damage to LP or jacket. More than two LPs may be mailed together in a heavy Bags Unlimited pizza-style box. Your LP should arrive in the same condition as on the day it was shipped. All used LPs are play-graded on a VPI turntable with Audioquest tonearm and Grado cartridge.
