Description
Prestige Bluesville 1046, “That’s All Right” with Snooks Eaglin, guitar and vocals, from 1962. The original DG vinyl plays at NM with virtually no background sound. The standard non-laminated jacket is in excellent condition in the original shrink wrap (slightly torn at upper right) with strong seams all around except for a bit of wear at lower right. There is no real ringwear although you can see a ring outline on the shrink; the jacket back is very clean; there are no writing or stamps. This is another of the truly great Bluesville releases. Songs are “Mama Don’t You Tear My Clothes”, “Mailman Passed”, “I’m a Country Boy”, “I’ve Got a Woman”, “Alberta”, “Brown Skinned Woman”, “Don’t You Lie to Me”, “That’s All Right”, “Well I had My Fun”, “Bottle Up and Go”, “Walking Blues”, “One More Drink”, and “Fly Right Baby”. It is one of a set of original Bluesville LPs from several collections brought together for sale this week on eBay. Most are original DG copies in remarkable condition, and many are in the original shrink wrap. Shipping is $4.00 media mail, $8.00 priority mail within the continental U.S.; $16.00 regular airmail to the U.K., Europe, Japan, Korea, Australia, and New Zealand. Additional LPs in a single package are $1.00 additional within U.S. and Canada, $2.00 elsewhere. For overseas shipments, registered mail is strongly recommended at $11.75 extra. Many old records are practically antiques and should be treated that way. This LP will be packaged with the record inside an inner sleeve but outside the jacket; both are placed inside a sealed outer sleeve and shipped inside a special oversized handcrafted mailer with padding on all sides. It is designed thick enough not to be bent in transit and strong enough to withstand a drop from a second-story window. More than two LPs together may be mailed inside a heavy Bags Unlimited pizza-style box. Your LP should arrive in the same condition as on the day it was shipped. All used LPs are play-graded on a VPI turntable with Audioquest tonearm and Grado cartridge.
