DESCRIPTION: Black Sabbath - Paranoid. Complete, original 1st UK pressing with 1Y1 420 12 /2Y1 420 11 matrix, large swirl label, matt gate fold sleeve with Big Bear credit and Vertigo swirl inner dated 09/70. Packed this weighs over 500gm so overseas postage is as for a double. All postage costs include insurance and top quality packaging. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Vertigo 6360 011 YEAR OF RELEASE: 1970 COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): VG+/VG+. Vinyl is really clean with a very nice sheen. Visually this is pretty near to EX. In natural sunlight it has some brushing lines and a few hairlines and thats it. Played passages of this tonight on my budget deck, including all of side 1. I will play it all and upgrade the listing in the next few days.  Sits perfectly flat on the turntable. Sounds Excellent. Music is loud, clean, powerful and clear with only a very occasional tick.  "Planet Caravan" has only the faintest trace of background sound and a couple of ticks.  "Hand Of Doom" iplays as clean as have ever heard it play on vinyl.  There is no background sound, no ticks, just clean and clear music.  "Big Bear" gate fold sleeve is one of the best 2 or 3 I have seen, really on a par with my own copy.  It is firm and square and has only light edge wear (light to moderate front bottom edge) , moderate corner wear and negligible creasing.  Very clean inside to gate fold. No writing, stickers or print tear, better than EX.  Fully legible spine retains nice shape.  Swirl inner is in acceptable shape. Clean with light yellowing and splits to 2 of 3 edges. Poly is detached but still there and serves its purpose. Only a discrete 1cm  tear around centre on both sides. Really clean Vertigo swirl labels- check out the photos. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE.
