OVERALL EXCELLENT CONDITION

History... Master of Reality is the third studio album by English heavy metal band Black Sabbath, released in August 1971, by Vertigo Records. It is regarded by some critics as the foundation of doom metal, stoner rock, and sludge metal. Produced by Rodger Bain, who also produced the band's prior two albums, Master of Reality was recorded at Island Studios in London from February to April 1971. Guitarist Tony Iommi and bassist Geezer Butler downtuned their instruments during the production, achieving what Iommi called a "bigger, heavier sound".

The vinyl is a true first press, confirmed by the positioning and size of the large Vertigo swirl and Roger Bain credits! It has a superior glossy sheen to the surface and sits completely flat with no warping. The labels and spindle holes are great. There are some light non feelable surface hairs and a needle drop patch to side one and some minor scuffs to side two.

The outer embossed cover box has the usual age related wear to corners etc with film crinkles  but no splits or tears.

The inner Vertigo swirl protective inner is very good - Bar age related discolouration and tiny seam splits starting.

Completing this set is a 'Master Of Reality' poster, in EXCELLENT condition with no splits or tears. Matt finish approx 46cm x 68cm folded into 6 sections.

OVERALL AN INCREDIBLY RARE FIND - A MUST HAVE TO ADD TO YOUR MUSICAL COLLECTION!!
