We have for sale a truly rare find in this condition, an original a UK first pressing of the iconic 1970 album Black Sabbath by Black Sabbath. Includes the classics Black Sabbath, N.I.B and The Wizard.

A UK first pressing with the Vertigo swirl label and swirl inner sleeve. Catalogue number, V0 6 847 903 VTY. Dead was run out numbers, Side A: VO 6 1Y * // 1 420 12, VO 6 2Y* // 2 420 1 1. Sleeve has the "Ossie Osbourne" credit inside the gatefold sleeve, this is only found on first pressings of this LP. A truly stunning find in this condition.

Gatefold sleeve is in excellent condition, with minimal storage wear to the edges and corners. Spine of the sleeve shows very few signs of wear. The only mark on the sleeve is where a previous owner has put their name on it (see photos). Inner swirl sleeve is in very good condition, no splits or tears. Record shows few signs of ever being played with an as new sheen. Labels are in as new condition. We have played it and it sounds superb, with no clicks or scratches, a superb find in this near pristine condition.

Our Vinyl is visually inspected under strong light for marks and imperfections. Any found are described in the additional condition section above or as per the Rare Record Collector grading system. Every one of our records has been tested by ourselves and has been machine cleaned prior to testing. Each record comes with a free an anti static cleaning cloth that is not available in the UK.

Mint (M): Perfect: This record looks like it has just left the manufacturer, with no flaws what so ever. It looks as though it had never been handled. No scuffs or scratches, blotches or stains.

Excellent (EX): The record shows some signs of being played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear to the edges of the sleeve and or creasing.

Very Good (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the sleeve and extra items, without any major defects is acceptable.

Returns are not accepted for auction items unless there has been an error in the listing by us. Returns are at buyers cost unless there has been an error in the listing. Any items for return must be advised within 14 days and must be returned in exactly the same condition as they were when dispatched. If any attempt has been made to modify or repair the item without authorisation then the return will not be accepted.
