This item is an album released in 1980 on Columbia Records by Billy Joel entitled ‘The Stranger’. This particular album was part of Columbia Records ‘Half Speed Mastered Master Sound’ series that was made for audiophile listeners. These half speed mastered album were made in very limited quantities and were only available for a short time. Record label and number is Columbia Records HC 34987. Record itself is in near mint condition and looks as if it might have been played once or twice. Record labels show no spindle wear (see photos). Record cover is also in near mint condition and looks new (see photos). Album comes complete with its original ‘Master Sound’ clear plastic outer bag, Master Sound information insert and original rice paper inner sleeve. See photos for song listings.
